We are a non-governmental NGO, statutorily engaged in the education of adults, seniors , as well as youth and people with fewer opportunities.
We have an entry in both the Register of Training Institutions and Employment Agencies - is an entity specializing in vocational activation.
In 2017, we obtained an entry in the register of nonpublic schools and establishments of the Department of Education of the City of Poznań (No. 1/2017) and operate as the Parasol Foundation Continuing Education Institution.
We actively cooperate with the Center for Senior Initiatives in Poznań, which distinguished us by giving us the title of Senior Friendly Place - 2017 awarded by the Mayor of Poznań.
Our activities
We organize training in the following areas: language, computer, psychological, professional and soft skills courses.
We operate in the area of counseling-vocational counseling and professional development, we support professionally inactive, unemployed and working people. We cooperate with entrepreneurs and local authorities for the activation of economically inactive people - we provide legal assistance, counseling (including career counseling) and psychological assistance to people at risk of social exclusion.
We promote human rights, equal opportunities for all, gender equality, active citizenship, lifelong learning, intergenerational activities.
We conduct research and provide information.
We support people with fewer opportunities.
Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is to support adults in acquiring knowledge and skills that will enable them to participate fully in social and professional life. We focus on providing education and support to people with fewer opportunities so that they can overcome barriers and achieve their goals. We strive to promote and protect human rights, with a special emphasis on gender equality, believing that every person deserves dignity, respect and equal treatment. Our foundation works to build a just society in which everyone has equal opportunities to develop and influence their future.
Our vision is to create a society in which every adult, regardless of their background, social status or gender, has equal access to education and development opportunities. We strive for a world in which people with fewer opportunities receive the support they need to participate fully in social, professional and cultural life. Our foundation believes in fundamental human rights and gender equality as the basis for a just society, where everyone has the opportunity to realize their potential and actively contribute to the common good. Through our education, support and promotion of equality, we aim to build a future where all people are respected and their rights are protected.
